Keep a small, current package ready. A straightforward biography, a few strong photos, links to mixes or clips you are happy to stand behind, and reliable contact details are enough. Check it before you send it. Broken links and old information make extra work for everyone.

Spend time in the scene before asking it for something. Support nights that matter to you, speak to people with respect, and remember that promoters are usually juggling plenty already. When you reach out, make the message brief and personal. Say why the night fits your sound and include the useful information without making them hunt for it.

Share your work consistently, but do not fill every channel with booking requests. Show preparation, musical curiosity, and the places where you are learning. Thank people who offer a slot, even when it is small. Turning up prepared and being easy to work with leaves a longer impression than a loud announcement.

Keep improving the actual craft. Record practice sessions, listen back honestly, and notice where your selections lose focus. Promotion can open a conversation, but your work in the booth is what makes people want to continue it. Build a reputation for care, patience, and a point of view that feels like yours.
